Gino Ferruzo
Communication Specialist
Gino was born and raised in an international and multicultural environment. With 9+ years of experience in the non-profit/association field, he has used his background in communication, marketing, graphic design, UX/UI design, service design, event planning, and project management to support and lead multiple initiatives related to education, literacy, medicine, HIV & AIDS, human trafficking, refugee assistance, relief aid, community development, children’s welfare, and other critical areas across 50+ countries.
In February 2023, Gino joined Status Plus as our Communications Assistant. Six months later, he transitioned to the position of Communication Specialist. With a clear vision of the impact of communication on organizations and society, he is eager to apply his experience and expertise at Status Plus. He believes that “no matter how big or small, every contribution to making our world a better place counts.”
Within Status Plus, while Gino works with all of Status Plus’s 20+ clients, he is particularly involved with the International Urogynecological Association (ISSM) and the International Society of Sexual Medicine (ISSM).
Gino currently resides in Amsterdam. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with friends, engaging in outdoor activities such as sports or festivals, and exploring new places.
