Melanie Jones

Melanie graduated with an AAS degree in Travel and Hospitality from Minneapolis Business College. After the collapse of the travel industry post 9/11 made it difficult to find stable work in that industry, she went on to hold a variety of different administrative positions with both for-profit and government organizations in which she honed her skills in office administration, customer service, accounting and finance.

Melanie joined Status Plus in 2016. Since joining the Status Plus team, Melanie has been instrumental in implementing processes, procedures and upgrades to the company’s administrative, finance, membership, and meeting registration systems. She started as Operations Support Specialist and recently transitioned to Operations Support Manager. In her role, she oversees membership, registration, and all other organizational processes for all existing US-based clients and is highly involved with onboarding new clients.

Melanie resides in the Twin Cities with her husband, son and their dog.

Paige Jensen

Paige Jensen joined the Status Plus team in 2024. She has held various Administrative Assistant and Receptionist positions over the years, building up her arsenal of skills. Paige holds a BA in communications and public relations from the University of Northwestern in St. Paul, MN. Through her time in school, Paige found her passion in helping people and building lasting relationships. She is excited to have joined the Status Plus team and begin her new adventure in the next chapter of her life.

Paige was born and raised in Minnesota, her family consists of her mother, father, brother, sister-in-law and two nieces, Kinslee and Ellie. She has two furballs she loves dearly – her cat, Crystal, and her black-lab, Odin. In her free time, she loves hanging out with her family and friends and using her creativity to write. She enjoys going on walks and has a passion for traveling. She has been riding horses for over 20 years, and when she has time, loves to go trail riding and galloping through state forests.

Rachel Baxter

Association Manager
Rachel’s career and personal life have followed a circuitous path that ultimately led to her work at Status Plus. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and Spanish from the University of Minnesota in 2011. Since then, she has lived and worked in Sebastopol, California; Washington, DC; Missoula, Montana; Toledo, Spain; and her home state of Minnesota. Her passion for the Spanish language and learning about other cultures is evident in her work and travels, and she thrives in a diverse, international, fast-paced work environment. With 10 years of experience in marketing, writing, and bilingual communications, Rachel is a dedicated employee and an effective communicator in a wide variety of situations. She approaches her work and everything she does with energy and purpose.
When she isn’t working, you can find Rachel spending time with family and friends, running, reading, hiking, camping, and traveling or planning her next trip.

Alyssa Miller

Alyssa graduated with a bachelor’s degree in International Business and a minor in German from Minnesota State University – Mankato in 2019. She previously worked for for-profit safety and security, as well as professional sound and audio engineering industries, where she developed her marketing communications and project management skills.

In April 2021, Alyssa joined Status Plus as an Association Coordinator, working with the Scientific Network on Female Sexual Health and Cancer, IUGA, FIUGA, and CSPM. Alyssa is excited to be able to successfully contribute to the continuing growth of Status Plus.

Alyssa currently resides in the greater-Minneapolis area with her fiancé and two pampered dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys antique & thrift shopping, cooking, baking, board games, and playing basketball & baseball with friends.
