With a career spanning over 20 years, Eric has dedicated most of his professional life to the nonprofit sector, particularly with scientific & technical organizations. His passion for this sector is evident from his previous strategic, business development, operations, membership, education, and financial leadership roles. He has held key positions with nonprofit organizations, including a VP of Operations (COO-level) role. His track record is a testament to his ability to deliver results, with a portfolio of achievements across multiple functional areas and goals, including breakthrough transformation and growth.
Eric’s career journey began with a global OEM (original equipment manufacturer) serving the Pulp & Paper Industry. However, his true calling was found in the nonprofit sector, where he dedicated his skills and expertise to helping multiple organizations thrive. His value proposition lies in his unique blend of strategy and execution, innovation and pragmatism, and a relentless focus on member needs. Eric’s qualifications include a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maine, a Mini MBA for Nonprofit Organizations from the University of St. Thomas Opus College of Business, and a CAE (Certified Association Executive) certification from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). He joined the Status Plus team in 2024.
Eric enjoys outdoor hikes with his dog, Oscar, reading the latest thriller novels, and playing sports outside his professional life. His mantra, ‘be the person Oscar thinks he is,’ reflects his values of humility and striving for the best version of himself.
